|2 80's songs - 1 r&b, 1 club - I need some help!!!|
There was a song that came out in the mid-80's (I believe) that was a club song. The only things I remember about it is that the beat of the song was a faster tempo of the beginning of "Don't Take It Personal" by Jermaine Jackson and that the song was sung by a somewhat deep-voiced woman whose lyrics I couldn't really understand. She sung them kind of fast - it was reminiscent of the "shannon sound"
The other song came out in the late 80's. I believe the chorus went like this:
You're taking me to heaven, twenty-four seven you're mine (backup singers: you're love is suddenly mine)
You're taking me to heaveeen, twenty-four seven you're miiine
(backup singers w/ male singer: you got me going in circles)
Any help would be appreciated immensely. I've been trying to figure out these songs for almost the last 15 years!!!!
