[Forward to a Friend]

Need Help with 2 Early '80's Country Songs
I've been trying to remember the name or artist of 2 songs. Both were probably out around the early to mid '80's.

The first one has the lyrics "Would you throw it all away for me baby, I'd throw it all away for you".

The 2nd one has the lyrics "We're a little less than lovers, but a little more than friends. Clinging to each other until the darkness ends"

Can anyone help. Thanks in Advance.

Song #1

This is a guess...

Artist: Larry Gatlin

Song: I'd Throw It All Away

Album: Smile

Year: 1985

Note: I also found that a country artist named 'Darrell Holt' recorded "I'd Throw It All Away". Click here for the 45 record

Song #2

Artist: The Oak Ridge Boys

Song: Every Now And Then

Album: The Oak Ridge Boys Have Arrived

Year: 1979

"We're a little less than Lovers and a little more than Friends, clinging to each other until the darkness ends. We have held each other time and time again. And Love Each other every now and then"

Need Help with 2 Early '80's Country Songs
Your my Hero for the week!!!!! I kept thinking that was the Oak Ridge Boys, but I only had a few ORB albums, and that was not one of them!!! I have actually been able to listen thru a video on YouTube. As for the Gatlins and "I'd Throw It All Away", well, I have not been so fortunate. That's probably the song I'm looking for, but I can't seem to find a digital download of it or the ORB song for that matter. iTunes, Rhapsody, or Amazon, none have it. I've been able to find vinyl on eBay, but was hoping for an mp3 download. Anyway, Thank you soooo much. I've posted this question on so many sites and no one has ever been able to come up with the answers. Your the Best ;o)
