Sorry I don't have the music for Lola Dee. For 'Paper Roses' wonder if you could post lyrics for the middle of the song for me. The missing part follows this:Paper roses remind me of you. Beautiful flowers that have no heart. Just like you all you do is play a part.
You gave me roses the day that we met
A paper flower that I never forget.....(the forgotten part)
Many thanks

The lyric of "Paper Roses" - Lola Dee (1955)

Paper roses are making me blue
Paper roses remind me of you
Beautiful flower that has no heart
Just like you all they do is prayed apart

You gave me roses, the day that we met
Like paper flower, I'll never forget
I knew your roses, would gay make believe
But how could I know you would decease

Paper roses are making me blue
Paper roses remind me of you
Beautiful flower that has no heart
Just like you all they do is prayed apart

Hmm .......................................

I shouldn't love you, the way that I do
When every hour, you're making me blue
I'll burn your roses, and when they're inflame
I resort your cold heart, could be the same

Paper roses are making me blue
Paper roses remind me of you
Beautiful flower that has no heart
Just like you all they do is prayed apart
Your paper roses had no heart

By the way, I would like to tell you there is another version (different melody with different lyric) of "Paper Roses" which is performed by Anita Bryant in 1960.

Benny: Thank you so much. I've looking for the lyrics of this song almost 45 yrs. My dad had a 78" record and he used to play it over and over again. About the other one by Anita Bryant, that's not the one I've been looking for.

Here's the address for your 'Ding Dong'song in Chinese. I've heard the english version when I was very young. If I come across it I won't forget to get it for you. Once again many thanks.

Hi, Sportsterblue,

yes, you're right.
Guess "Paper Roses/Only You" is a 45 rpm vinyl record released without CD yet.
