90's soul track thats the same tune as Snoop Dogg track
I need help finding this track...It used to be played on a lot on the local pirate radio stations in the early 90's. It was a woman/female group singing and it originally sampled Art of Noise "Moments In Love". Its the same tune as Snoop Dogg's "In Love With A Thug" (from No Limit Top Dogg Album). Please, please, please can someone help me, its been bugging me for weeks now...Oh Yeh..The chorus went something like..

"U sure can't find another.....

("..Just like me..")

(not much help, I know but it's the best I can do, soz)

I'm having trouble finding these tracks on the net but none of the titles/artists ring a bell with me. It is the same tune as "In Love With A Thug" just slowed down a little. It could of been a duet with a man and a woman, I'm really not sure but it's from the early 90's and it's a soul/RnB tune

No matey, I used to listen to Sunset Radio, FrontlineFM and....Oooh..I can't remember the names of the other ones but they were all based in Manchester. I'm talking a good 10-15 years ago now tho'. I've never heard of luvNRG to be honest. Is/was it any good and which areas is/was it broadcast?...When I think about it, Frontline was 99.7fm then it changed to BuzzFM after the cops came knocking lol

after frontline radio soul some djs went to love energy like markie b and mavie d (aka south central crew) ragga 3 & ricochet an a few others too, PIC crew (devo d, junior mackai, leggo dan) used to be on this station, They used to broadcast from around moss side. they went for a good few years on an off.
there was soulnation aswell on 1046fm, but for me frontline radio soul was wicked, shame they never came back on.

Yeh I remember soulnation too but for me Sunset Radio was top dog as it was the first pirate station to be broadcast from manchester for manchester (even the jingles were quality). It was running for a good 3-4 years solid too (people didn't realise it was pirate cos pirate should mean crap but everything about it was livo, the tunes, the DJs etc) Frontline is a close second tho' for the quality of the DJs, the banter, the daft comps they used to run plus the tunage was w8y.
It really is a shame that no matter how hard they might try now they will never be as good as back then. The attitude's all wrong nowadays, too much gangsta, not enough soul.
