Hidden on an Album of a OHW from the 70's R&B
I don't remember this song getting any air play, but it was on a "One Hit Wonder" album. I don't remember what the "BIGGY" was on the album, but the song I am looking for goes like this:

MALE ARTIST

Verse: Champagne glasses on the table
Music playing soft and low
I could hear gentle voices,
as I creeped closer to the bedroom door.

Chorus:
Should I have knocked before I entered?
Should I have called before I came home?
Did I come back too soon, or did I stay away too long?

Verse: ...I was more shocked then I was hurt
to see who was making love to you...

Chorus: Should I have knocked before I entered?
Should I have called before I came home?
Did I come back too soon, or did I stay away too long?

Verse: ...It wouldn't have hurt as much as it did
If it had been another man...

Chorus: Should I have knocked before I entered?
Should I have called before I came home?
Did I come back too soon, or did I stay away too long?

I can picture the album cover, but can't see the artist name or the title of this song? Please there has got to be someone out there besides me, who always seem to find good cuts on albums. I want to say the artist's last name is NORTH???

Check the other forum. I added a picture, sound clip, and a link to buy the CD.
