EXACTLY!!! Thats unbeleiveable that some of these maggots wanna get paid off somebody elses music. Shit, its bad enough we steal it ourselves and then sell CDs in our neighborhood to folks, but to try to ask $20.00 for a fucking song and solicite that $ from someone who also has access to the internet, wow....what a broke bum! Shame on them. losers. cup cakes. pop tart asses.
P.S. Big ups to "Dan" because I always seen his name attached to alot of music and I aint never seen him beg for money.

yup, your right again!!!!! for some reason, the general population has this notion that artist couldn't possibly hang out on boards like this, but if you go to the old OHWC board, you WILL find there are more than 3 ol' school musicians that answer questions about their own albums and what they're doing now. so who's to say that a member of the GYRLZ isn't checkin' this out and collecting data on who is and who isn't capitalizing off of there music. i bought this album yrs ago and YES, I STILL OWN IT!!!! and no i didn't have it converted into a cd for those of you about to respond with a negative comment. downloading it from limewire was alot easier than going through the process (everyone knows it's illegal to steal music, but if you look at my collection of over 4,000 mp3's you will find the exact cassette, albums and cd's to go along with everything i've downloaded from the internet) so MiiND GaMeZz, you keep up the crusade on these people trying to profit off of something they really shouldn't. I've spent alot of money on music and rightfully so....i didn't go into a recording studio and make it so it's not mine and i shouldn't be the one reaping the rewards from it!!!!!

lol blackwidow. Right. I have over 2,400 manufactured CDs that I have bought over the years, ever since CDs became available and I also have old school vinyls in milk crates in my mothers attic. Now this is not to say that I have not downloaded music, I am very guilty of doing so. And yes, some of the songs that I downloaded I already owned but didnt wanna dig out the CD and rip it from that CD to my PC then add that "1" track I wanted to a compilation CD I was creating and YES, there has also been songs I have downloaded that I never paid for a day in my life. I have created CDs for family, friends, neighbors and even gotten paid for it (given away some for free too) so see, Im guilty too. These were people who didnt have access to the internet and burners but if you would ask me would I charge someone already on here, on this forum where we all congregate to try to find song titles, artists or help one another would I charge someone who is looking for a little help? Hell nah. To me, I think thats dirty. Hell, the only reason why I ever charged anyone for a CD in the first place was because they cost me $ to buy the blank ones in the first place. Not saying thats any better and perhaps Im a hypocrite in this respect. * shrugs*. But that kat was gonna charge homegirl $20.00 for his help and to send her a track. smh. I am all over this forum and I have sent god only knows how many songs to people and I dont mind because music is a HUGE part of my life and I know how good it feels to hear a song u have not heard in years! Like I said, "Dan" is all over this forum and I never see him solicite monies from others, it appears he just does it to be a team player and he is thourough as fuck when doing so. I take my hat off to homie. Big up Dan. Anyways, just thought I would reply back to ya. And again, if there is ANY song from ANY genre, dont hesitate to ask. :)

love the response MiiND GaMeZz!!!!! I'm guilty too but hey, that's music!!! over the years, i've searched and searched for the soundtrack to "just another girl on the irt" .... it was released on cassette back in 92' and i do have all but one song that i've tried to find. the artist name is "Kimberly Davis" and the song is titled "Now is the Time.... she was a former member of Full Force's girl group "EX-GIRLFRIEND" and laid tracks for the movie BeBe's Kids. she has also done voice over work and i think she also goes by the name Kimberly Jones Davis....any idea?
